Statics overview

Statics is for customers who get a fixed IP address on your network instead of dialling in with a PPPoE username and password. Think of businesses, CCTV links, or customers whose own router (a Tenda or similar CPE) is simply plugged in and given an IP.

ISPMan decides whether each IP may reach the internet: paid clients are let through; lapsed ones are blocked. It does this by managing firewall rules on your MikroTik for the static network, so there’s nothing for the customer to log in to.

  1. In Statics → Settings you give each router a static network (for example 10.27.0.0/16) and click Apply. ISPMan sets up the gateway and firewall rules on that router.
  2. You add customers. Each gets an IP from their router’s network (or one you type in), a PPPoE package for price and speed, and their own account number to pay into.
  3. While a customer is paid up, their IP is allowed online at the package speed. When their subscription ends, ISPMan tries to renew from their balance; if it can’t, the IP is blocked until they pay or you renew them.

Open Statics in the side menu (or Services → Statics). Its pages:

Page Path Use it for
Customers /dashboard/statics/customers The main list, with Add Static Customer, Import, Settings and Bulk Actions.
Expiring /dashboard/statics/expiring Customers expiring soon or recently lapsed.
Recent Logs /dashboard/statics/recent_logs Connect and disconnect actions sent to routers.
Recent Accounting /dashboard/statics/recent_accounting Usage sessions reported by routers.
Settings /dashboard/statics/settings Each router’s static network. Owners and statics admins only.

Clicking a customer opens their page at /dashboard/statics/customers/<id>.

Statics is available to owners, statics admins and readers, and PPPoE admins and readers.

Filter with the tabs: All, Active, Inactive, Connected, Failed, plus the expiry chips (Expiring Today, Expiring Tomorrow, Expiring in 3 Days, Expiring This Week, Expired Today, Expired Yesterday, Expired 3 Days Ago, Expired This Week).

Columns: Name, IP Address, Account (the “Pay to” number customers pay into), Custom Account (your own reference), Phone, Package, Device, Status, Last Seen, Expiry and Active.

Connected shows customers whose last router action allowed them online. Failed shows customers whose last router action didn’t go through, for example because the router was offline. See Logs and bulk actions.

Your home dashboard also has a static customers status card; click a tile to see the customers behind it.

  2. Set up each router’s static network: Network setup.
