Checkout links
A checkout link is a small public payment page with its own short code,
for example https://…/checkouts/ABC. Anyone who opens it enters their
M-Pesa number, gets a payment prompt on their phone, and sees the confirmation
on the page. Use checkout links to collect money outside the normal hotspot or
PPPoE flow: installation fees, equipment, event WiFi, or a payment you want to
share on WhatsApp or as a printed QR code.
Checkout links live at /dashboard/payments/checkout. Open that address
directly in your browser while signed in to the dashboard.
Create a checkout link

/dashboard/payments/checkoutand click Create Checkout. - In Create M-Pesa Checkout Link, fill in:
- Description: what the payment is for. Payers see it on the page.
- Currency: KES, TZS, UGX or USD.
- Amount (Optional): set it for a fixed price. Leave it empty to let the payer type the amount (shown as Variable amount).
- Callback URL (required): a web address where ISPMan posts a confirmation each time a payment completes. Use your own system’s webhook URL here.

What the payer sees
Section titled “What the payer sees”The public page is titled M-Pesa Checkout and shows your business name, the Checkout Code, the Amount to Pay (for a fixed amount) and the description. The payer enters their M-Pesa Phone Number (for a variable link, also the amount), submits, and approves the prompt on their phone. The page waits and shows when the payment is confirmed.
