Wallets

ISPMan keeps the money it handles in wallets. There are two kinds:

  • Your collection wallet: the business’s own wallet. When ISPMan collects payments for you, your share lands here and you withdraw it to M-Pesa.
  • Customer wallets: one per customer, identified by their account number. Every customer payment goes into the customer’s wallet first, and the wallet then pays for their package or subscription.

The Wallets menu has a page for each view. Clicking Wallets itself takes you to Payments → Withdrawals, where your collection wallet is.

Balance Meaning
Current The total recorded in the wallet.
Available What can actually be used or withdrawn right now. Withdrawals draw on this.
Vendor A running note of money your customers paid you directly through your own payment provider, not through ISPMan. It is a record, not a balance: you cannot withdraw it and it is not counted in Available.

Normally Current and Available match. They differ for a short time while a payment or billing step is in progress.

Find it at the top of Payments → Withdrawals. Each card shows the wallet reference, currency, Current and Available balances, and the Vendor figure. Click the eye icon next to a figure to show or hide it.

  • Select the card to show the Withdraw button. See Withdrawals.
  • If you use your own provider, the Vendor figure grows as customers pay you directly. An Owner or Admin can click Reset to zero to restart that count, for example at the start of each month. No money moves, and the old figure is not kept anywhere, so note it down first if you need it.

Wallets → Customer (/dashboard/wallets/customer) lists All Customer Wallets with Account, Service, Customer, Current Balance, Available Balance and Last Updated. How the money is used depends on the service:

  • Hotspot: the wallet stores money customers can use to connect to a package whenever they like.
  • PPPoE: the page notes that if the customer has an active connection valid for more than half its validity time, the money is forwarded straight to you.
  • Your own payment gateway: payments are reflected in the vendor balance, which you can reset at any time.

Wallets → Loaded (/dashboard/wallets/loaded) shows customer wallets with money in them (an available balance or a vendor balance above zero), largest first. Two totals sit at the top:

  • Available Total: money held in customer wallets collected through ISPMan.
  • Vendor Total: money recorded as collected straight into your own provider account.

Money in a loaded wallet belongs to the customer until it is used for a package. It shows in payment reports as “Not used for a package yet” and it cannot be withdrawn. To clear a customer’s balance, open their profile (click the account, name or phone) and claim it from there.

Wallets → Pending (/dashboard/wallets/pending) lists customer wallets whose Current and Available balances do not match, meaning a payment or billing step has not finished.
