Loyalty points

The loyalty program rewards your hotspot customers. They earn points when they pay, visit your captive portal, refer friends or connect a TV, and swap points for free internet time or data. It gives regulars a reason to keep buying from you rather than a neighbour.

Go to Sales & Promos → Loyalty Points (/dashboard/loyalty-points). Click Settings to configure the program (/dashboard/loyalty-points/settings).

  1. Earn points: customers earn points through visits, purchases, referrals and TV connections at the rates you set.
  2. Accumulate: points are stored on the customer’s account and shown on the captive portal if you enable that.
  3. Redeem: customers exchange points for free internet time or data bundles, as you configure.
  1. Under Program Status, turn on Enable Loyalty Program. ISPMan starts awarding points from now on.
  2. Turn on Show on Captive Portal so customers see their points balance and redemption options on the portal.
  3. Set the earning rates (see the table below) and click Save Points Configuration.
  4. Under redemption, turn on Enable Time Redemption and/or Enable Data Redemption, set the rates, and click Save for each.
Field Meaning
Amount per 1 Loyalty Point How much money equals 1 point. At 100, a customer who pays 500 earns 5 points. Leave empty to turn off points for payments.
Points per Captive Visit Points each time a customer visits your portal. Keep it small to avoid abuse.
Points per Purchase Points when a customer buys through the portal.
Points per Referral Points when a customer they referred makes their first purchase.
Points per TV Connect Points when a customer connects a TV.
  • Time Redemption → Redemption Rate: how much internet time points buy, written as “N points = M minutes”. For example “1 point = 5 minutes”, or “2 points = 5 minutes” to make time cost more. The page shows an example for a customer with 10 points.
  • Data Redemption → Megabytes per Point: how many MB of free data one point gives. At 100, 2 points = 200 MB.

If you start the program after you already have customers, you can award points for their earlier hotspot payments, using your current Amount per 1 Loyalty Point.

  1. In settings, click Award Points for Old Payments.
  2. Choose a range: This week, This month, Last 3 months, This year or All time.
  3. Click Start Awarding. Keep the window open to watch progress; if you navigate away it continues in the background.

Each cleared payment is awarded points only once, so it is safe to run this more than once. If no amount-per-point is set, the page asks you to set one first.

The Loyalty Customers list shows hotspot customers with more than zero points: Customer, Phone Number, Email, Package, Router Device, Loyalty Points and Last Seen.

To reset balances, click Reset Points. This affects every hotspot customer at once and can’t be undone. Choose:

  • Cap at a standard value: anyone above the number you enter comes down to it; anyone at or below it is left alone. Click Reset points.
  • Clear to zero: every balance goes to 0. Click Clear all points.
