Hiring technicians

Marketplace → Technicians (/dashboard/marketplace/technicians) lists ID-verified technicians (“fundis”) serving your country, with rates in your currency. Hire one on site, for example to splice a fibre cut or mount a radio, or remotely to help configure a router. You pay into escrow and the money is only released after you confirm the job is done.

Find a technician

Section titled “Find a technician”

Filter by trade (All trades or a specific one). Each card shows the technician’s trades, service area, rates, and badges such as Verified skills and remote assist. Open a profile to see:

  • Profile, with ID verified.
  • Trades and levels: their verified skill level per trade (or Not assessed).
  • Certificates, with how each was verified.

If nobody matches, the page suggests posting a job request; nearby technicians are notified.

Hire a technician

Section titled “Hire a technician”
  1. On the technician’s profile, go to Hire.
  2. Choose On site or Remote assist.
  3. Choose the rate: Hourly (with Estimated hours; billed for the first hour, then in 30-minute blocks on the job timer you confirm), a Fixed-price task (choose the task), or Day rate.
  4. Pick the date and time slot and describe the job and the site.
  5. For on-site work, add the site location (latitude and longitude) and the address or a landmark.
  6. For remote work, tick the consent to give the technician temporary access to the ISPMan devices you choose for this job (up to 24 hours, revocable).
  7. Click Hire and pay into escrow and pay the estimate as for any purchase.

Post a job request

Section titled “Post a job request”

For an emergency, or when you don’t know whom to hire, click Post a job request. Choose the trade, On site or Remote assist, the location, date and budget, tick Urgent if needed, and click Post. Your requests appear under My job requests.

Manage hired jobs

Section titled “Manage hired jobs”

Hired technicians lists your jobs. Depending on the job you can:

  • Join call for a remote session.
  • Grant device access for a remote job: choose Read only or Configure and how many hours, then click Grant. Click Revoke device access to remove it at any time.
  • Confirm completion when the work is done. This releases the payment.
